THE TEOTIHUACAN REVELATIONS
Astonishing New Evidence for Advanced Ancient Civilization in Mexico
BY JONATHON PERRIN
Distant mountains ringed the horizon, and before me sprawled the ruins of the largest ancient metropolis in the Americas. The Aztecs had found the city empty and abandoned, calling it Teotihuacan--'the place where men became gods,' pronouncing it tay-oh-tee-WAH-kan. We simply don't know what the city was really called at the height of its splendor. More...
WAS COLUMBUS ON A SECRET MISSION?
To Prove the Earth Was Round... or Something Else?
BY WILLIAM B. STOECKER
In America today he is called Christopher Columbus; in Spanish-speaking countries his name is Cristobal Colon. He was, we are told, a morally flawed man who brutally mistreated the Indians. He was also one of the finest seaman and most able navigators of his time. There is strong evidence that he may have been intentionally hiding the real purpose of his famous voyages to the New World. KNIGHTS TEMPLAR IN TENNESSEE?
Cracking the Mystery of the Melungeon People
BY STEVEN SORA
There exists in the state of Tennessee and in the neighboring states of Kentucky, North Carolina, and Virginia a people who were, and are in modern times, very different racially from the recognized settlers of the region. They were first noted in 1654 by English explorers who believed they were, indeed, a separate race. More...
Did the Allied Powers of WWII Get Help from Other Dimensions?
BY MARCIA DIEHL
Can greater-than-human conflict overflow onto the human plane? Nineteenth century founder of the Theosophical Society Madame Helena P. Blavatsky was so bold as to assert such a thing in the 'scientific' age, whereas the ancients seem to have known it well. But could extraterrestrial warfare also engage on the nuclear level? More...
RELICS FROM THE ICE AGE?
Are Malta's Temples Thousands of Years Older than Conventional Archaeologists Acknowledge?
BY ROBERT SCHOCH, Ph.D.
The alluring and perplexing ancient megalithic temples of Malta and Gozo (the smaller island just north of Malta) have been a destination for travelers throughout the Mediterranean region and beyond for thousands of years. Even in their ruinous states, the temples are incredibly impressive; the largest limestone blocks weigh twenty to forty tons. There is evidence that the temples were not only venerated but also used and reused, built and rebuilt over the centuries and millennia. More...
American vs. English Freemasons
BY STEPHEN V. O'ROURKE
When discussing esoteric elements that influenced the American Revolution, alternative researchers often present Freemasonry as central to the time. Often overlooked though are the practical elements that made up Freemasonry in the colonies during the mid-eighteenth century. Freemasonry in its modern sense had only been publicly declared in 1717, and its position in the American colonies varied in influence as the two sides of the revolution struggled for supremacy. Understanding the Standing Stones & Circles of a Lost Science
BY CHARLES SHAHAR
The many sacred structures built by ancient peoples had varied purposes. They functioned as places for ceremonial worship and tribal assemblies; tombs where great leaders or saints were buried; astronomical observatories and calendars that were aligned with various celestial objects; and sites that also featured underground springs or wells that were thought to have magical healing properties. These structures had multiple functions, some of them very practical--but let's focus here on the idea that these sacred structures were specifically designed for directing spiritual energy. More...
THE LOST ROBOTS
Uncovering the Forgotten Achievements of Ancient Inventors
BY FRANK JOSEPH
Artificial Intelligence is the iconic controversy of our times. Yet, complex, even sophisticated robotics is not unique to early twenty-first century technology. Original, surprisingly ingenious examples were actually built and operated by long-lost civilizations, many thousands of years ago. And some android specimens were perhaps more advanced than current levels of applied science. More...
Did the Caliph Know Something about the Great Pyramid that Egyptologists Still Don't?
BY RALPH ELLIS & MARK FOSTER
The classical story of the discovery of the upper chambers inside the Khufu pyramid at Giza is well known. In the ninth century an Arab governor of Cairo, known as the Caliph al Ma'mun, decided to see for himself what lay inside the Great Pyramid (Khufu pyramid) and began to excavate a tunnel straight through the casing and core blocks with hammers and chisels. Fortuitously for the Caliph, their busy tunneling shook the structure so much that the capstone fell off the end of the ascending passage. More...
CAN MIND HEAL MATTER?
Surprisingly, the Evidence Is Clear
BY MITCH HOROWITZ
Transcendentalist philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson--a philosophical visionary more complete than any other this nation has produced--identified two components to attaining personal power. One is to "drill." By this he meant training, rehearsal, education--the repeated application of a skill, over and over, the way a martial artist never stops working his routines. The other is "concentration." By this he meant you must target the energies of your training at a narrowly fixed aim. More...
THE FORBIDDEN ARCHAEOLOGIST
THE MOULIN QUIGNON MYSTERY DEEPENS
BY MICHAEL A. CREMO
In 1863, Jacques Boucher de Perthes found stone tools and an anatomically modern human jaw at a depth of 16.5 feet in an excavation at the Moulin Quignon quarry in Abbeville, France. The discovery of the human jaw was especially controversial. A commission of leading French and English scientists met at the site to conduct investigations and arrive at conclusions. Several of the English scientists believed that the stone tools and jaw had all been fraudulently introduced into the deposits at Moulin Quignon, to fool Boucher de Perthes. But initially they could not prove this. Commission members made a surprise visit to the site and conducted excavations that yielded stone tools. More...
Is This the Ancient Source of Egyptian Cosmology?
BY JULIE LOAR
In 1972 a group of archaeologists were crossing the Egyptian desert, tracking by compass in an area known as Nabta Playa, when they arrived at the shores of a long extinct lake. Stopping for a break, they noticed potsherds at their feet. Intrigued, they returned later to investigate. Following several seasons of digging, they realized that what they had assumed were merely outcroppings of rock were in fact an enigmatic circle of standing megalithic stones. More...
COULD BIG SCIENCE BE ON TRIAL?
BY J. DOUGLAS KENYON
If you thought that important archaeological discoveries were being kept hidden from the public, and that laws intended to preserve the public's right to know were being routinely violated, you could expect to be sneered at by the science-and-media establishment, but you would, nevertheless, be right. That is the view of highly respected Professor Keith Kintigh of the Arizona State University, School of Human Evolution and Social Change. More...
