EMP WARSbr> Are the Exotic Weapons of the Future Already Here? BY STEVEN SORAbr> Conspiracy theorists on the Internet are very worked up these days over what they believe may have been the first shot in an exotic war of the future. On November 8, 2010, it is said, the Peoples Republic of China was the aggressor and the Carnival Cruise Line's ship, the Splendor was the victim. The incident was widely reported. What was not so widely reported was the suspicion in some quarters that a mysterious missile fired from a Chinese submarine may have been the cause.
CLUES TO THE GREAT CATASTROPHE
The Author of 'Atlantis in the Caribbean' Searches for the Truth of the Younger Dryas
BY ANDREW COLLINS
The date is September 29, 2014. It is beginning to rain as I cross a sparse, sandy wasteland under threat of commercial development. I am in Lommel, Belgium, close to the border with the Netherlands. With me is ... one of the world's acknowledged experts on what has become known as the Younger Dryas Boundary impact event, which now becomes the most likely mechanism behind the destruction of Atlantis.
Does Special Relativity Explain Anything?
BY STEPHEN ROBBINS, Ph.D.
The story has long been classic: Joe takes off in a rocket to a nearby star. Jeremy, his twin brother, stays on Earth, happily playing solitaire. Years later, Joe returns. He looks like a young Brad Pitt. Jeremy is in a wheel chair. He has wrinkles, grey beard, and arthritis so bad he can't manipulate his card deck. Why is Joe so young? Special Relativity tells us: due to the high velocity of his rocket, Joe's time slowed; his aging processes slowed. The reality of this exotic scenario has been confirmed by experiments.
SEARCHING FOR THE MAN CALLED NOAH
What Can 'Ark'-aeology Reveal About Him?
BY SUSAN MARTINEZ, Ph.D.
One of the most intriguing clues to the holy tribes of deepest antiquity is their distinctive white hair. Probably the earliest scriptural mention of these milk-white tresses appears in the apocryphal 'Book of Enoch,' where we learn of a prodigy born to Enoch's grandson Lamech ... The baby's name was Noah.
KHUFU PAPYRI UNVEILED
Can the 'Oldest Papyrus' Give Us the True Age of the Great Pyramid or Not?
BY ROBERT M. SCHOCH, Ph.D.
On 14 July 2016, my wife (Katie) and I had the privilege of attending, by special invitation, the opening of the first public exhibition of the "Papyri of King Khufu from Wadi Al-Jarf" at the Egyptian Museum, Tahrir Square, Cairo. None other than Zahi Hawass, the former Minister of Antiquities, has called the Khufu Papyri "the greatest discovery in Egypt in the twenty first century" (quoted by Alexander Stille, 'Smithsonian Magazine,' October 2015). Listening to the dignitaries speak, I wondered.
INDUS CIVILIZATION NOT PRIMITIVE
The mainstream archaeological spotlight has now come to bear on the once-forgotten Indus Civilization. A "Forgotten Utopia," gushed the respected British science magazine 'New Scientist' in September 2016. Science now concedes many of the Indus accomplishments, in particular that of surviving for 700 years without war, weapons, or social inequality.
EARLIEST AMERICANS NOT SIBERIAN
For many years the standard textbook explanation for how humans arrived in the Americas was that they came from Siberia and crossed a land bridge to Alaska. Now, new DNA research has completely ruled out that route for Americans before 12,600 years ago.
EASTER ISLAND NOT WARLIKE
Experts have insisted that ancient Easter Island peoples were destroyed by war. The natives of Rapa Nui, we are told, killed each other in horrendous fighting and eventually ran out of resources. But now, a professor of Anthropology at U.K.'s Binghamton University, Carl Lipo, says that story is not true.
IS THIS PALEOLITHIC ALUMINUM?
A strange aluminum object found in Romania in the 1970s, is now being hailed by some as evidence of very advanced and very ancient technology. Causing much excitement, not only on the Internet but in the press as well, the apparent machine part with drill holes has been dated to a quarter million years ago.
CAN WE READ THE UNREADABLE?
A typical problem with unlocking the secrets of the past seems literally 'bound up' in an almost completely burned scroll from the third-to-fourth century, unearthed in 1970 from an ancient Israeli synagogue. A cylindrical lump of charcoal was all that remained of what has come to be called the Ein Gedi Scroll...Nevertheless, the scroll has now been successfully unrolled and read.
CRYING 'WOLF' AND THE POLAR BEAR
Have dire media warnings about declining Arctic sea ice, and the consequent danger to Polar Bears, actually been "cries of wolf"?
CLIMATE CHANGE BLAMED ON A 'WOBBLING EARTH'
The doctrine of 'African genesis' has been updated lately. Previous difficulties in accounting for just what may have caused modern humans to leave Africa for destinations in eastern China and southern Europe about 80,000 years ago (as evidenced by genetic research) were caused, we are told, by 'climate change.' According to a September, 2016 study in the journal 'Nature,' the culprit was 'Earth wobble' (what some might call 'precession', and others, a 'pole shift').
BUMBLE BEE 'BRAIN' BEDAZZLES
Not only, can bumble bees learn to use tools, but they can teach the trick to their colleagues. ...bees can learn how to pull a string to release sugar water, and... other bees who merely watched the first ones would also pick up the trick.
TO INFINITY AND BEYOND
The limitations of life on this planet are evident, or so some would have us believe. Many feel the same about the familiar 3-dimensional construct which seems to set the boundaries of all human experience. At least one person wants to do something about both issues. Entrepreneur Elon Musk, the erstwhile creator of PayPal, founder of SpaceX and Tesla Motors, says he plans to send humans to colonize Mars by 2025; and he is also reported to be financing, in part, a research project to find out if our world is just a computer simulation created by some "post-human" society like that suggested in the 'Matrix' movies.
...BUT DON'T FEED THE ALIENS
Someone who spends, literally, all of his time thinking could still be using a lot of that time for something other than positive thinking--worrying. Such is apparently the case with brilliant British physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking. ...For some time Hawking has worried publicly about nasty aliens from light-years away, as well as out-of-control artificial intelligence (AI) from right here on Earth.
ANCIENT TALES & SHIFTING POLES
What Really Happened at the End of the Ice Age?
BY SCOTT CREIGHTON
Far to the south of modern Egypt, at a place called Edfu, there is a temple built for the ancient Egyptian falcon god, Horus. The temple itself was built during the Egyptian Ptolemaic period, around 200 BC but is believed to have been erected on a much more ancient sacred site. Upon the walls, ceilings, columns, and pylons of the temple are written texts said to have come from an ancient book. ...Today we have come to know these texts as the 'Edfu Building Texts.' They tell of a time in remote antiquity when the progenitors of the Egyptian civilization lived on a sacred island in the midst of a vast ocean, the homeland of the 'primeval ones.'
AN ENGINEER VISITS NOAH'S ARK
Would the Biblical Specifications Actually Work?
BY ARLAN ANDREWS, SR., SC.D., P.E.
As I exited Interstate 75 in central Kentucky and drove westward up the small rise toward the 'Ark Encounter' theme park, my first impression of the large boat perched atop the distant hill--a full-sized replica of Noah's Ark--was "Wow! It is really huge!"
THE VERY ODD CASE OF THE MICHIGAN RELICS
Who Are you Going to Trust?
BY FRANK JOSEPH
During spring 2015, The Travel Channel's popular 'Mysteries at the Museum' series dramatized a story about Michigan resident, James O. Scotford. It recounted the uneducated handyman's "discovery" of a strangely decorated jar near Detroit, in 1890, when this supposed relic of a lost, pre-Indian civilization sparked intense, public curiosity.
Tattooing Has Been with Us from the Beginning, Apparently BY RITA LOUISE, Ph.D.
Tattooing may be the hottest fashion statement going these days, but it is an ancient practice, and its origin is clouded in mystery.
THE SPACEMAN HYPOTHESIS
What Does the Evidence Show?
BY WILLIAM B. STOECKER
There is a steadily growing mass of evidence that we human beings here on planet Earth share our Solar System with someone else. The evidence that, many thousands of years ago, there was someone on Mars and on our Moon and perhaps elsewhere is very strong, and there is also reason to believe that they are still here and that they are a space faring civilization.
HAMLET'S MILL & THE WHEEL OF HEAVEN
BY JULIE LOAR
For millennia, people have found meaning by watching the night sky as it changed over time, looking for repeating patterns and searching for changes that could portend danger. Sparkling points of light in the dark sky could be tracked and named.
FIGHTING THE FORCES OF EVIL
BY J. DOUGLAS KENYON
While many of the secular materialists, who dominate Western culture and science these days, applaud the left-leaning policies of Pope Francis I, they have, nonetheless, been dismayed by his emphasis on the role of evil in the world; his frequent mentions of the Devil; and his open advocacy of exorcism. Those who believe that reality can be entirely explained by ordinary physical laws, are much threatened by the notion that invisible and undiscovered forces could underlie visible events; and they seek to dismiss such ideas as nothing more than superstition--the unfortunate legacy of the very dark history of the human race.

THE FORBIDDEN ARCHAEOLOGIST
Michael A. Cremo
AT THE WORLD ARCHAEOLOGICAL CONGRESS IN KYOTO
I get my message of extreme human antiquity out in many ways, to many different audiences. ...one of my audiences is the community of professional archaeologists. One of the ways I reach this audience is by presenting papers at conferences of professional archaeologists. Over the years, I have done this many times.
